The Course

Be inspired by Ralph Hedley who will guide you to attain your full potential, whether you are a beginner or experienced artist in the amazingly beautiful surroundings of his home in Mallorca.  
With the enphasis on enjoyment and relaxation, discover new techniques using watercolours, acrylics and a variety of medium.  Enhance your skills in drawing and perspectives, learn about the use of colour, materials, mixing and theory, simple perspective, from, space and light and the tricks that take your artwork to a new level.
Our painting courses run from March until November and the tuition that you will recieve on your holiday will be personal and tailored to suit your needs, whether you are a beginner or a more experienced artist.
Non painting partners are very welcome.
I use the knowledge and experience that I have gained over the past 40 years to create a course that will enable you to reach your goals.  Techniques and tips are demonstrated whenever they are needed.
We do some classes at Case de Siquier (the house) and others at different painting venues (as weather allows) and locations have been selected for their variety and aesthetic beauty.  
My aim is to ensure that each day is fun and my students delight in sharing ideas and insights in a non-competitive and relaxed environment.
We always include at least one free day visit to a local market,  finish off work or simply relax at the house.
Weekly courses run Saturday to Saturday
Day courses are available as well as weekly courses for those who live on the island.

A sample weeks course would be as follows :
Day 1
Arrive at Case De Siquier.  Settle in and get to know the group.  People usually arrive at different times on this day therefore we provide a lunchtime buffet for those who are early but we ask that everyone arrives prior to Dinner at 8pm if at all possible as this is where we will all first sit down, with, Ralph and Tina, to chat and get to know each other.
Day 2
AM - Paint
Buffet Lunch
PM - Paint
Dinner at Case De Siquier
Day 3
ALL DAY - Painting trip to either a beach or village location, packed lunch included.
Day 4
AM - PAINT
Buffet Lunch at Case De Siquier
PM - PAINT/RELAX (the class will be split to allow a small group to attend a masterclass while others relax - the rest of the group will do their masterclass on Day 6)
Day 5
ALL DAY - A trip to Palma to explore at will.
Day 6
AM - Trip to a local area to paint - lunch at a local restaurant
PM - PAINT/RELAX - (the class will be split to allow a small group to attend a masterclass while others relax - the rest of the group will do their masterclass on Day 4)
